| Notes: | NGC6885 is a loose open star cluster in
Vulpecula.
The bright star in the centre of the image is 20 Vul, a so called Be star
(an emission line star).
The New General Catalogue lists a second open star cluster inside this image field: NGC6882. It is unclear, whether NGC6882 is only another name for NGC6885 or if NGC6882 consists of the star concentration in the north western corner of the image. |
