Notes: Berkeley 51 is a very young open star cluster located approximately 18,000 light-years away in the constellation Cygnus. This cluster is heavily obscured by the dust of the Milky Way which causes the stars to be strongly reddened: E(B-V) = 1.8mag.

The field around Berkeley 51 is rich in red emission nebula.
