NGC2403 is a member of the M81 group of
galaxies. This galaxy has a morphology similar to the nearby Sc galaxy
M33. NGC2403 is well known for it's big number of
bright HII regions, as seen clearly in the above image. The brightest HII
region got a NGC number: NGC2404. |
