Notes: Arp 107, also known as UGC 5984 is a pair of interacting galaxies, located about 450 million light-years away in the constellation Leo Minor. The galaxies are in the process of colliding and merging. The larger galaxy is an extremely energetic galaxy of a type known as a Seyfert galaxy, which house active galactic nuclei at their cores.
